Account deletion

Use this public page to request deletion of your Unbroke account and associated app data from outside the app.

How to request deletion

Email support@unbroke.app from the email address tied to your Unbroke account and use the subject line Delete my Unbroke account.

If you cannot email from that address, include the account email and enough detail for identity verification before deletion is processed. We may ask for additional verification before deleting an account.

If you signed in with Google or GitHub, deleting your Unbroke account does not delete your Google or GitHub account. You can also disconnect Unbroke from those providers in your provider account settings.

What gets deleted

Deletion covers the Unbroke account profile and user-scoped app data such as accounts, categories, tags, transactions, planned activity, recurring rules and occurrences, debts, payoff plans, goals, investments, notification settings, browser push subscriptions, webhook settings, chat records, imports, exports, saved preferences, and onboarding state.

Deletion also disables app access for that Unbroke account. If you have an active paid subscription, you may still need to cancel it through Stripe, Apple, Google Play, or the payment channel where you subscribed.

What may be retained

Some data may be retained for a limited period when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, tax or accounting records, billing dispute handling, audit obligations, or backup recovery windows.

Retained records are limited to the purpose that requires retention and are not used to keep providing the deleted account as an active Unbroke account.

In-app data clearing

Signed-in users can clear saved finance data from Settings under the import, export, and delete tools.

Clearing saved finance data is different from deleting the account itself. Use the email request above if you want the full account deletion workflow required by app-store data deletion rules.
